Prof. Wing H Leung

Professor Wing Leung, MBBS PhD, is a Senior Consultant in Hematology and Oncology at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital and a Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School in Singapore. He is the Chair of the TCL-CCF Professorship and the Director of Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy Center. Previously, he was the Chair of the Department of Bone Marrow Transplantation and Cellular Therapy at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Vice President of Clinical Development at Miltenyi Biotec. Prof. Leung obtained his medical degree from the University of Hong Kong and a Ph.D. from the Johns Hopkins University. He is a diplomate certified in general pediatrics and in pediatric hematology-oncology by the American Board of Pediatrics. Prof. Leung has a major research interest in the biology of human natural killer cells and memory T cells, specifically the clinical applications in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and cellular therapy. His research received continuous funding from the National Institutes of Health. He is an elected Member of the American Society for Clinical Investigation.
