• This talk will review the key elements necessary to ensure professional and public confidence in the effective operation of genomic medicine as a mainstream component of health systems, in the context of the developments made by England’s 100,000 Genomes Project and the National Genomic Medicine Service.
• It will consider the laboratory, service and informatics infrastructure that were established by the National Health Service and Genomics England to deliver clinical care and support discovery and research.
