Dr Kan graduated from the University of Hong Kong and obtained specialist qualification in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2006. She completed the Master of Public Health at the University of Hong Kong in 2008. She attended overseas training in cytogenetics at Guy¡¦s Hospital, London in 2011, and obtained the Diploma of European Molecular Cytogenetics at the Universit? Paris Descartes in 2012. She also had clinical and laboratory attachment at Victorian Clinical Genetics Services in Melbourne, Australia in 2014. Her areas of interest include chromosomal microarray in prenatal diagnosis and genetic counselling.
