Mr. Timothy Yung is the Senior Pharmacist of the Chief Pharmacist’s Office of the Hong Kong Hospital Authority (HA). He graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong with a Pharmacy degree and is now a registered pharmacist in Hong Kong. He has also obtained a Bachelor of Pharmacy in Chinese Medicine and a Master degree in Clinical Pharmacy from The University of Hong Kong and The University of Sunderland of the United Kingdom respectively.

Mr. Yung has a wide spectrum of experience in frontline pharmacy operation, system implementation and project management. He has taken part in various special projects concerning the corporate development of HA’s pharmaceutical services. He also plays a key role in formulating quality and safety standards for use of Chinese Medicine and Integrative Medicine, and provides professional support in the development of Integrated Chinese-Western Medicine in public hospitals.

Since September 2015, Mr. Yung has become a member of the HA Toxicology Service and has been actively engaged in the poisoning reporting and alert system in collaboration with the Department of Health. He supports the development of clinical toxicology services and maintains the toxicology database. In addition, he coordinates the management of antidotes in public hospitals.
