Ms Cecilia MC Chan is currently working as the Nurse Consultant (Cardiac Care) in Kowloon Central Cluster. She has been the nurse-in-charge of Cardiac Ambulatory Care Centre of QEH since 1995. Through her dedicated and seamless work, Cardiac Ambulatory Care Centre has become an indispensable portion of cardiac services in QEH. With her knowledge and commitment in cardiac care nursing, the first Cardiology Nurse Clinic has been accredited by HAHO in 2012 in Hong Kong. Other than the ambulatory care provided, Cecilia actively takes part in acute in-patient care. She started up the ACS program in QEH to triage the patients to receive urgent cardiac intervention during hospitalization. She is the core member in setting up 24/7 Primary PCI program in Kowloon Central Cluster and also the coordinator of Heart Team member. Academically, Cecilia actively participates in academic activities of the cardiac team of QEH as shown by the numerous abstracts presented, publications and research projects. With the great passion in cardiac nursing development, Cecilia is currently as vice president of Hong Kong College of Cardiac Nursing.
