Dr Ada Lin is a specialist in both Infectious Disease and Public Health Medicine. She joined the Department of Health in 2009. Before joining the Department of Health, she worked and trained as physician in the Hospital Authority. She obtained Fellowship in Infectious Disease and Advanced Internal Medicine of the Hong Kong College of Physicians in 2007 and 2008 respectively, as well as Fellowship in Public Health Medicine of the Hong Kong College of Community Medicine in 2015.

At the Department of Health, Dr Lin is currently Head of Programme Management and Professional Development Branch of the Centre for Health Protection. She provides oversight in various vaccination programmes, including the Vaccination Subsidy Schemes, Government Vaccination Programme (including Residential Care Home Vaccination Programme) and School Outreach Vaccination Programme. Her other work experience in the Department of Health included HIV Medicine, Viral Hepatitis and Regulation of Private Healthcare Facilities.
