Dr. Siu-fai Lui
Overview
CV
Currently, Dr. Lui is on a part-time appointment as Adjunct Professor, at the Division of Health System, Policy and Management, The Jockey Club School of Public Health and Primary Care, and Adjunct Professor, CUHK Jockey Club Institute of Ageing, CUHK. He is also an Honorary Consultant (Quality and Safety) of New Territories East Cluster, Hospital Authority, Hong Kong.
After his retirement from Hospital Authority in 2012, he rejoined The Chinese University of Hong Kong as Clinical Professional Consultant, at the Division of Health System, Policy and Management, The Jockey Club School of Public Health and Primary Care till June 2018. He was engaged with under-graduate and post-graduate teaching and consultancy work on quality, safety and patient relations in healthcare.
He was a member of the CUHK team conducting patient experience, patient engagement and accreditation survey for HA, as well as conducting workshops on better patient relations, applied mediation skill and management of adverse event for Hospital Authority and Department of Health, HKSAR.
Before his retirement from the Hospital Authority, he was the Consultant (Quality and Risk Management) of the Hospital Authority and Cluster Service Director (Quality and Safety) of NTEC, HA. He was the Chairman of HA Central Committee for Quality and Safety and HA Central Committee for Patient Relations and Engagement, hence extensive experience in patient relations, complaint management and incident management.
