At Data and Media Hack 2019, 7 students from different academic background joined together and formed a team called CYDA. They onboarded in alleviating enjoyable, fulfilling elderly lives, due to one team goal – “Utilizing Data Intelligence for a Greater Social Good”. With the great efforts and dedication of different teammates, CYDA competed in the grand finale and got the Wisers AI Innovation Award and 1st Prize of the hackathon.

Carrie, who is a Statistics student at HKU, has developed strong interests in many aspects like data science, UX/UI design and mobile application development. For this project, she looks after CYDA’s database and real-time visualization dashboards for psychologist & government usage.
