At Data and Media Hack 2019, 7 students from different academic background joined together and formed a team called CYDA. They onboarded in alleviating enjoyable, fulfilling elderly lives, due to one team goal – “Utilizing Data Intelligence for a Greater Social Good”. With the great efforts and dedication of different teammates, CYDA competed in the grand finale and got the Wisers AI Innovation Award and 1st Prize of the hackathon.

Yeung, who majors in Decision Analytics at HKU, specializes in natural language processing. The significance of Yeung’s specialties is made clear when text analytics can process elderly voice records, in keeping track of their emotion sentiments and level of happiness.
