Ms. Tam is a specialty nurse in Gerontological Nursing since 2013 with over 15 years of experience in nursing. Holding a master in Stroke and Clinical Neurosciences, Ms. Tam is also a Certified Dementia Care Planner since 2016.
Ms. Tam has actively engaged in gerontological work for years. She attaches great importance to the rights and benefits of patients with dementia, and is committed to improve gerontological services, especially dementia care services in Hong Kong. She developed delirium care model in acute geriatric ward in 2012. She is also the nurse coordinator of Integrated Cognitive Assessment Clinic(ICAC) in United Christin Hospital since 2013. In the past years, Ms. Tam attended various local and international conferences to present her views and insights with the industry on cognitive service. She also participated in researches on Montreal Cognitive Assessment.
Since 2017, Ms. Tam works in the Dementia Community Support Scheme in Kowloon East Cluster. She makes use of her knowledge and experience to promote dementia to the local community.
