CV
Ms Tang is an Advanced Practice Nurse (Psychiatric) with over 30 years of extensive clinical experience, particularly in the field of psychogeriatric nursing. She graduated from the CUHK with a Bachelor Degree of Nursing (Hons) in 2001. Completed a Master Degree in Clinical Gerontology at the CUHK in 2005. She left the HA in 2000 to set up a centre for dementia which is funded by the Hong Kong Jockey Club and operated by the CUHK. The centre is regarded as a role model for dementia care and also a training centre as well as resource centre on dementia. She played an active role in various research initiatives.
She re-joined HA in 2008 with focus on psychogeriatric community outreaching and memory clinic in collaboration with multi-disciplinary professionals. At present, she works in the Dementia Community Support Scheme in Kowloon Easter Cluster. She is also a visiting lecturer for a post-registration Certificate Course in Psychogeriatric Nursing in the Institute of Advanced Nursing Studies, HA as well as a Member of Psychogeriatric Nursing Working Group.
